Animated diagrams with making one/more steps visible at a time
Viral Lalakia
I am requesting a feature where we can create animated diagrams (with making one/more steps visible at a time), and it should have controls like autoplay with necessary export options, e.g. GIF, video file, etc. This should be supported for diagram-as-a-code, so that the person creating the diagram can write some simple syntax and create easily explainable animated diagrams.
I have researched on the same topic and couldn't find a ready to use solution from you or any of your competitors. I have created a script of my own which was built on top of https://mermaid.js.org by using their JavaScript file and extending their syntax, the output of that script can be viewed on this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tpe36eZ2bkyHHv0FJ7jThHVo2rwnCkqn/view?usp=drive_link .
I am requesting something similar in terms of animation, which can help with great amount when it comes to self-explanatory diagrams, especially huge diagrams with more than 30–40 nodes with complex links among them.
P.S. This feature can easily become your USP (unique selling point).

Animation flow support

A simple animation that shows data flow.

Thanks for the input Rommel Azucena and Dennis Dao. Although we likely don't have any immediate plans to add animation directly to Eraser, we have seen some users export diagrams from Eraser and add in animations inside of presentation software. Might be a good workaround for now.
Here is an example https://x.com/ProgressiveCod2/status/1738476165931933800 .
