Grid support with snapping would go a long way. I currently have to use other tools whenever I need perfectly aligned diagrams, even though I'd rather use Eraser. The alignment guides help a lot, but are definitely not enough.

Special Elements(Grid)

Im a transfer student from Invision and a feature that's been usefull for making sense of lots of data is the Grid Feature. Would be very cool to see something like that here. The grid has a plus button to add columns and rows. The items in the grid section keep their location relative to their grid.

yes - grid would enable using Eraser for laying out our new office space...

Thanks for the feedback Emmanuel. We're considering enabling snap alignment to other objects to make alignment easier. We'll take a grid option consideration as well!

Shin Kim:The alignment guides help, but they're not accurate for long term projects or pixel-perfect designs. A swappable, adjustable grid like the ones used by Miro and Excalidraw are great for both alignment and aesthetics. Having the option to switch between a dot grid and square grid would be awesome.
